Barnsley 0-3 Leicester City.

Barnsley suffered their first league defeat at Oakwell this calendar year against an almost unstoppable Leicester City side who extended their unbeaten league run to 15 matches, 12 of which they have won.

The Foxes won 3-0 for the third successive game to move seven points clear of second placed Burnley and 15 points clear of the chasing play-off pack.

Following a solid 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend, The Reds again failed to build on it. Along with Birmingham and Charlton, Barnsley are the only side yet to achieve back to back wins this season and it is now exactly 12 months since they last did.

This was only the second time in nine home games under Danny Wilson that Barnsley have failed to score.
