Doncaster 2-1 Barnsley

Last updated : 03 October 2015 By Rob Miles (BarnsleyBoy)

After winning each of their first three visits to the Keepmoat Stadium Barnsley have now come home winless from each of the last four, three of them defeats.

The Reds have NEVER won at the Keepmoat when they have conceded a goal. 1967 was the last time Barnsley won at Doncaster when conceding a goal.

There has been a goal in the final ten minutes in each of the last four meetings there; three for Doncaster, one for Barnsley and five post 84th minute goals in the last eight clashes overall.

Overall Barnsley are now winless in six v Rovers.

14 of Barnsley’s last 17 goals in all competitions have been scored by Marley Watkins, Lewin Nyatanga, Conor Hourihane or Sam Winnall.

At least one of those quartet have scored in nine of Barnsley’s 13 games this season.

Barnsley had five shots on target today, their joint most on the road this season and only conceded two (both goals) their joint lowest.

Barnsley lost a game in the final minute for the second time this season, both 2-1. It did not happen at all last season.

Barnsley got through a game without a booking for the first time this season.

Doncaster won for only the second time this season.
