The movement, work-rate, effort everything was spot on!
Mouth dropped when Howard and Reid came out to train but I'm glad they played.
Kay was at right back first half with Reid switching there in the 2nd half but the whole defence was immense. Nyatanga didn't put a foot wrong which explains this brilliant ditty from yesterday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPRkpcTXv98
Ferenczi was fantastic as well. Granted he never really looked like scoring but he went up for everything, held the ball up extremely well. There was one long ball out to the by-line that most players who stick their leg out for it would probably see it hit their foot and bounce out but Ferenczi controlled it incredibly well.
Also his relationship with the fans is top notch. He was warming up before the game and the fans were chanting "Istvan Ferenczi" and he punched the air shouting "Come On" and even during the game when he was at the other end of the pitch and the fans were chanting his name he punched his chest and saluted the fans, Top Man!
*Pauses for breath*
And then there's Nardiello, if only he could produce a full season, tremendous yesterday his goals were quality and he covered every blade of grass.
We rocked a bit at 3-1 but McCann hit the bar!
I've run our of superlatives to describe yesterday. Well done lads!!!
