Barnsley play Blackpool in Carling Cup First Round

The Reds have been given a home tie with Second Division rivals Blackpool in the First Round of the League Cup (now sponsored by Carling rather than Worthington).

The Reds did the double over the Tangerines in the League last season but got well beaten by them in the FA Cup.
