Andy Ritchie gave his thoughts to the Official Barnsley F.C website after The Reds biggest away win since the Play-Off Semi Finals in 2000.
" I was very pleased with the win and it makes it a better trip home for everybody. We got our first goal from a breakaway but it was great play and great composure by Chris Shuker to score.
We could have had another as well but you cannot take anything away from Paul Hayes' finish. It was an excellent goal and Paul showed great vision to put it in the net.
We had a lot of luck and Gillingham had their chances but we put defenders and bodies in the way. The lad gave their all tonight."
