Barnsley were handed their first ever home tie in the LDV Vans Trophy.
The first round draw made live by Tim Lovejoy and Helen Chamberlain on Soccer AM handed the Reds a meeting with South Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers.
The Reds who face Rovers at Oakwell in the league this Saturday will lock horns with Dave Penney's side again in the week commencing October 17th 2005 (most likely on the Tuesday).
