Lumsdon denies Burnley rumours

"I have certainly not heard anything to do with a move to Burnley," said Lumsdon on the Official site.

"As far as I am concerned I am going to be at Barnsley working hard for next season after my form was not as good as it should have been last season. I want to get back to the form that I showed two years ago when I came to Barnsley on loan.

"I know there have been clubs sniffing around but I don’t want to know about it until Barnsley tell me otherwise. The club will have to accept a bid or tell me they want me to go before that changes. As far as I am concerned I am at Barnsley and I want to stay at Barnsley."

Lumsdon's form dipped after his loan move became permanent and he was criticised by sections of the Oakwell faithful last season.
