Barnsley Football Club will next season have sponsors on the BACK of their shirts as well as the front next season after the Club announced a sponsorship deal with Perrys Motor Sales.
There was talk of back-of-the-shirt sponsors for last season but it wasn't widely taken up.
Barnsley Chairman Gordon Shepherd told the Official site: "This is another exciting sponsorship deal for the club and we are very pleased to have Perrys Motor Sales on board. They are a company that fit the image of the club and are another local business specific to Barnsley.
We have set out this year to make Barnsley Football Club financially and commercially stable and this deal is another step in the right direction".
Barnsley F.C marketing Manager Nick Johnson said:
" The Football League gave clubs the opportunity to have a back of shirt sponsor last season although it was not widely taken up. We have worked hard in the last few months to make this deal happen and we are all delighted to be working with Perrys Motor Sales for the next two years.
Perrys Motor Sales have taken the opportunity to become the clubs new back of shirt sponsors as part of a considerable advertising package and we are delighted to have them on board.
