Chairman Peter Ridsdale said: "We have signed Ross Turnbull and Michael Chopra for the rest of the season. In the short term we are looking to reduce overheads, not increase them.
"We have a full quota of players and we have Mark Stallard who is on loan at Chesterfield and will be due back here."
