Barnsley's South Yorkshire derby at Sheffield United has been given a provisional date of Tuesday the 24th February 2009- exactly a week after The Reds head to Hillsborough, for their rearranged clash with Sheffield Wednesday.
The Reds were due to face the Blades this Saturday- 14th February, but the game had to be rearranged as United face Hull in the FA Cup Fifth Round that day.
That clash could still get in the way of Barnsley's league dealings with United however, as if the two sides draw on Saturday, then they will replay on Thursday 26th February and thus another date will have to be set for the derby.
