Peter Ridsdale has talked to Queens Park Rangers about buying into the club
but the discussions are unlikely to lead anywhere.

Rangers are seeking new investors and the former Leeds chairman had expressed his interest.

He has also spoken to Stoke but is set to stay in Yorkshire by investing in the Reds.

QPR chief executive David Davies said: "Peter spoke to us and asked what
our situation was but he seems to be focused on Barnsley. If there was
something in it I'd be more circumspect. As far as we're concerned he's
looking elsewhere."
