The 2004/2005 Player of The Year Chris Shuker is set to start the final game of the season at Blackpool on Saturday after fully recovering from mumps with big hitman Barry Conlon set to return on the bench after a four month absence with a groin problem.

Unfortunately Paul Reid and Tom Williams haven't recovered from their injuries in time and will now focus on getting fully fit for next season.

Speaking to the Official Site caretaker boss Andy Ritchie said:

On Shuker:

" Chris has trained fine this week and is fit to start the game".

On Conlon:

"Barry will be on the bench this weekend. It will do him the world of good to get a run out before the end of the season and he could get a few minutes at the end".

On Reid:

"Paul is still not quite ready and it would not be right just to rush him in on Saturday. He could be out for three weeks or so if he breaks down again so we have decided not to take that gamble.

"He has trained ok today but we will not be risking him with the summer break just days away".

and on Williams:

"Tom is still a little way off being ready to play. He is coming along well but there is no chance of him being fit for the weekend".
