Former Reds manager Gudjon Thordarson has revealed that he has been interviewed by Stockport County for the vacant managerial position.

Thordarson said: "I have spoken to Stockport but nothing has been decided yet,"
"The job interests me very much and I believe I have a lot to offer."

County MD Kevan Taylor revealed the club had whittled their shortlist down to four candidates.

Steve McMahon, Chris Turner, Brett Angell and Jim Gannon were others interested in the job.
