We'll be out of Administration by the second week in December

Creditors have been contacted by letter by RSM Robson Rhodes seeking approval for a revised voluntary agreement following the takeover from Peter Doyle's ownership of the club and the deadline for responses is December 5.

Under that agreement they have sent £250,000 to Robson Rhodes to settle an outstanding tax bill.

The likelihood of other creditors rejecting the new arrangements is nil as the taxman has already given approval.

Matt Dunham, from Robson Rhodes, said that days after the December 5 deadline, Barnsley will be free to regain their Football League share.

Following that the transfer embargo will also be lifted at last.
