Reds young gun Nicky Wroe has stated that the players owe the fans a good performance in the final home game of the season against Colchester on Saturday after the 5-0 hammering at Port Vale.

Nicky told the Official Barnsley F.C site:

" We have to play for pride on Saturday and alot of our supporters paid a lot of money to go to Port Vale so we have to get the right result for them. We have to come together as a squad and go for the win straight from the free kick.

We still have alot to play for. We have our own personal pride and we all want to do well for Barnsley Football Club. Alot of the lads have contracts to play for so they want to do well and be here next season. We have to go out and do our best because supporters pay alot of money to come and watch every week so they want to see a good performance".
